Our Website Design Process
Mirror Image Branding is in the business of website design for small business owners. We have set out to make this process affordable and manageable for small business owners like you. Our core Design Philosophy drives everything we do.
Our design process consists of four phases:
Phase One - Concept Development
This phase of the website design process involves looking at the big picture. To work through this process, a few questions need to be answered:
- Who is your intended audience?
- What is your intended message or call to action?
- Do you have an established color palette using color theory principles
- Do you have an established logo design
If you can't answer all of these questions definitively, then there is more work to do in this stage of the process. Mirror Image Branding will help you to work through this process, to insure that you ultimately deliver the proper message to your target audience with your new website.
Phase Two - Template Design
In this phase of the web design process, we will focus on finalizing your overall site template. Building on your established color palette and logo design, we will further develop the template to a structure that fits your business image. We will begin to flesh out the header, footer and content areas of your web pages. We will work closely with you during this phase, applying revisions where needed.
Once you are completely satisfied with the template design and feel the site has captured your company's image, we will move to the development stage.
Phase Three - Website Development
Once your template design has been finalized, we can begin the development of your new website. In this phase we will begin to collect content for your web pages. We will also begin setup of any web forms and other modules that are needed to add your necessary functionality. If we are building an ecommerce site for example, we will need to setup shipping and payment modules and add categories and products.
We will work closely with you throughout this process to ensure that all of your business needs are met and that you are completely satisfied with the results.
Once this stage is complete, your website should be ready for launch. Remember, Mirror Image Branding is available once your site is live for regular updates in order to keep your content fresh. With our monthly website maintenance plans, you can have the flexibility and affordability of an evolving website. Want to change the images on your home page? Send a maintenance request and attach the images and we will take care of the rest.
Phase Four - Custom Add-Ons
Once your basic website design is completed, you may want some custom functionality added to your site.
These could include any or all of the following:
- Photo Galleries
- an FAQs section
- Event Bookings
- Interactive Calendars
- Much, much more!
There are hundreds of options available for added functionality.
